  • PERSES - My Time
I've been curating a list of Thai Pop groups I enjoy on Spotify and I think I've found my favorite Boy Group! Perses is a five-member boy group under GNEST. They debuted on September 28, 2022 with the digital EP "My Time". They're a fairly new group so I'm looking forward to more music.

  • The Law Cafe (2022)

    ★ ★
Thoughts: I enjoyed how sure of herself the female lead was. It's refreshing to see characters make their intentions known. Because the characters seem to know what they want and talk out their feelings, the miscommunication trope was kept to a minimum. There was some "male lead doesn't want to tell the FL his true feelings until the drama in his life has been sorted" but it wasn't enought to annoy me, I understood where he was coming from and I didn't mind it too much. Loved the "found family" dynamic that the law cafe provided. It brought together misfit-type characters for a common goal.

  • My Dearest Nemesis (2025)
    ★ ★ ★
This show follows Baek So-Jung, a team leader at Yongseong Department store who has a reputation for being a stickler towards her Bosses. When the new director and heir to the company, Ban Joo-Yeon comes to fill the role of the previous one who quit, their hard-headed personalities clash and unknowing to them, they've met before which will bring up an awkward incident that happened between them 16 years ago that shaped both of their lives.
Thoughts: Very cute drama about embracing your hobbies and interests that help you cope with life. It was fairly lighthearted and didn't take itself too seriously. You can add this drama to the ongoing list of "Loveable Loser" male leads.
